Authorized HPE Aruba Networking Partner Serving Vancouver & Victoria
Tecnet designs, deploys and supports Aruba wireless and switching for organizations across Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island. Every wireless project starts with a site survey, so access points go where the building needs them, and we have been building and supporting networks in British Columbia since 1974.

HPE Aruba Networking
5+ year partnership
Tecnet has been collaborating with Aruba over the past years to enhance wireless connectivity for businesses of all sizes. Our partnership enables us to provide a range of Aruba’s leading products, including Aruba Instant On access points, Aruba Central for cloud-based network management, Aruba Switches for seamless integration, and Aruba ClearPass for advanced network security. These solutions help our clients achieve reliable, high-performance WiFi networks, ensuring robust connectivity and optimal productivity.
Partnership proof
Aruba Wi-Fi that Starts With a Survey
Most Wi-Fi complaints trace back to design rather than hardware. Access points get placed by guesswork, channels overlap, and coverage drops behind concrete, freezers or metal shelving.
Tecnet is an Aruba networking partner, and our wireless work starts with predictive and on-site surveys using Ekahau. We measure the things that decide whether Wi-Fi actually works: signal strength, signal-to-noise ratio, channel interference, throughput and packet loss. Then we specify the Aruba hardware to match the building and the number of people using it.
Aruba is part of HPE. Since HPE completed its acquisition of Juniper Networks in 2025, it has started releasing access points that can be managed from either Aruba Central or Juniper Mist, so existing Aruba investments stay supported as the two product lines come together.

Aruba Products and Services We Work With
Aruba scales from a two-access-point office to a multi-site campus. These are the areas we design, deploy and support.
Aruba Instant On Access points and switches for small offices and branch sites, managed from a mobile app or web portal. There is no controller to buy and no ongoing management subscription, which suits organizations with a small IT budget. HPE now markets the line as HPE Networking Instant On.
Aruba campus access points Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 access points for dense offices, warehouses, schools and public buildings, sized to the number of devices on the network rather than square footage alone.
Aruba CX switching Access and core switching with Power over Ethernet for access points, cameras and phones, configured and monitored alongside the wireless network.
Aruba Central Cloud management for wired and wireless networks, with firmware, monitoring and configuration templates applied consistently across every site.
ClearPass network access control Control over who and what connects to the network, with staff, guests and IoT devices kept on separate segments and policies enforced automatically.
Wi-Fi site surveys and network design Predictive models built from CAD floor plans, on-site measurement, and a validation survey after installation to confirm the design performs as planned.
Guest and public Wi-Fi Guest networks for non-profits, municipalities and organizations that serve the public, with captive portals and bandwidth limits that keep guest traffic off the staff network.
Monitoring, firmware and lifecycle planning Ongoing management for organizations without in-house network capacity, including firmware updates and hardware refresh planned against real end-of-support dates.

Choosing Aruba to stretch a non-profit’s budget
A non-profit serving staff and the community had weak Wi-Fi coverage that was disrupting daily services. Tecnet surveyed the site, then evaluated Aruba and Fortinet access points on performance, scalability and cost. Aruba came out as the most cost-effective option. The new network delivers consistent coverage across all work areas, and the lower per-access-point cost freed up funds for the organization’s community programs.
Software ManagementWi-Fi design for a food distribution warehouse
A food distributor needed reliable Wi-Fi across a warehouse with freezers, refrigerated rooms, loading docks and mixed construction materials, with room to add product scanning later. Tecnet built the design from site survey data and CAD files, mapped access point placement against the shelving layout, and measured the result against more than 15 performance indicators.
Network & ConnectivityTake the next step
Find the dead zones before you buy access points.
A Wi-Fi site survey maps coverage, interference and capacity across your space and tells you how many access points you need and where they should go. You get a design you can budget against, whether you buy from us or not.
Why Aruba
Why Aruba and Why Here
Aruba covers the full range with one vendor. A small office can start on Instant On, and a growing organization can move to Aruba Central, CX switching and ClearPass without changing platforms or retraining staff.
It is also competitive on cost. When we evaluated access points for a budget-conscious non-profit, Aruba delivered the coverage the client needed at a lower cost per access point than the alternative. For organizations that fund IT from grants or tight operating budgets, that difference goes back into programs.

FAQ
Aruba Partner FAQs
Yes. Tecnet is an Aruba networking partner and has worked with Aruba for years to improve wireless connectivity for organizations of all sizes across British Columbia.
It depends on how many devices connect at once, what they are doing, and what the building is made of. A survey answers it properly. Square footage alone tends to produce either dead zones or more access points than the space needs.
Instant On is built for small offices and branch sites and has no management subscription. Aruba Central is the full cloud management platform for larger and multi-site networks, with deeper monitoring, templates and integration with ClearPass. We recommend based on site count, device numbers and who will manage the network day to day.
No. HPE is keeping both product lines and has started releasing access points that either Aruba Central or Juniper Mist can manage. Aruba customers keep their current investment and gain options.
It depends on what else is on the network. If a FortiGate already runs your firewall, FortiAP access points can be managed from the same interface, which simplifies things for a small IT team. If wireless cost and coverage are the main drivers, Aruba often wins, as it did on a recent non-profit project. We specify what fits the requirement and the budget.
Yes. We have offices in both, and we support Aruba networks across Metro Vancouver, Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island.
