Meraki MS switches Access and aggregation switching with Power over Ethernet, managed from the same dashboard as the wireless network so port configuration and troubleshooting happen in one place.
Meraki MX security appliances and SD-WAN Firewall, content filtering and SD-WAN in one appliance, with site-to-site VPN that builds itself between locations. A strong fit for organizations with many small branch offices.

Why Meraki and Why the Canada Region Matters
Meraki runs a dedicated Canada region, with its own dashboard at dashboard.meraki.ca and data centres located in Canada. Customer account information and organization data for Canada region networks stay in the country.
For public sector bodies, non-profits and regulated organizations in BC, that answers the data residency question at the platform level. The catch is that Canada region organizations are managed separately from Meraki’s global dashboard, so the region is a decision to make at the start of a deployment. We raise it during design so it is not discovered later.

Yes, on the Meraki Canada region. Account and organization data for Canada region networks is stored in Canadian data centres and managed through a separate dashboard. It is set up when the organization is created, so it is worth deciding before deployment.
Meraki suits organizations that want every site in one simple cloud dashboard and are comfortable with an ongoing licence. Aruba is often more cost-effective for wireless-heavy projects. Fortinet makes sense when security is the priority and a FortiGate already anchors the network. We specify based on your sites, your team and your budget.
