As Tecnet’s Director of Technology, Ryan Hennessy helps organizations make confident technology decisions that support their goals. He brings together business strategy, technology, cybersecurity, and modernization to guide clients through complex challenges and turn new opportunities into practical, lasting results.
Ryan joined Tecnet in 2008 after starting his IT career with his family’s business in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. With more than two decades of industry experience, he has worked across technical services, operations, consulting, and leadership. This broad background gives him a practical understanding of everything from infrastructure, networking, and cloud platforms to Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, solution design, and managed IT services.
Today, Ryan leads the continued development of Tecnet’s technology and advisory services, including virtual CIO and virtual CISO guidance, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, integration, and automation. By working closely with clients and Tecnet’s growth and service delivery teams, he helps ensure every technology strategy is relevant, achievable, and designed to create meaningful business value.
