However, their specific needs and preferences were unknown until after the selection process, creating a time-sensitive procurement and setup issue.
Coordinating the sourcing, configuration, and distribution of devices required seamless collaboration between multiple stakeholders. To provide a frictionless user experience, every step—from device selection and procurement to zero-touch deployment and logistical execution—had to be precisely synchronized. The ultimate goal was to equip users with pre-configured devices that were ready to use from day one, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process.

We delivered a streamlined, zero-touch deployment solution that ensured all users received pre-configured devices with minimal effort. Using Apple’s Device Enrollment
Program (DEP), all devices — including laptops, iPads, chargers, keyboards, and iPhones— were set up in advance based on user preferences.

Each individual received a tailored “device backpack” containing all necessary equipment, complete with clear setup instructions and guidance stickers to simplify the onboarding process. A digital survey was used to collect device preferences and shipping details before deployment, allowing for seamless coordination.

Upgrading to advanced Verkada cameras required not only the deployment of new hardware but also the seamless integration of supporting software, all within a tight timeframe. Ensuring that the transition was both efficient and unobtrusive was critical to maintaining the safety and security of public spaces without impacting the community’s routine activities.
